The two largest wheel loader models WL60 and WL70 with an operating weight of six or seven tons are now available with new engines and additional options. At the Reichertshofen site, customers and dealers from all over Europe and the Middle East were able to extensively test products and exchange ideas with colleagues and experts. On Saturday, visitors from Reichertshofen and the surrounding area could then visit Wacker Neuson on the open house day.
Wacker Neuson is known for its unique production design. Now the internal vibrators of the IEC series from Wacker Neuson have been awarded the renowned iF Design Award. The internal vibrators with integrated converters combine efficiency output, sturdiness and user friendliness with a particularly good price-performance ratio.
No matter if soil, sand or plants: Wheel loaders are irreplaceable as transportation helpers. With the new WL28 Wacker Neuson proves once again that the compact construction and high load capacity of the machine as well as a high degree of flexibility can be merged without problems.
The Wacker Neuson Group is planning to open a new plant near Shanghai in China. Initially compact excavators will be produced for the local market, further products will follow. It is planned that the first compact excavator should roll off the production line at the beginning of 2018.
In April, work will begin on the expansion of Wacker Neuson’s light equipment production site in Reichertshofen. The company will be investing around EUR 10 million in a new R&D center for light equipment between now and the start of 2017.
